Chloride in bottled water - a health risk ?
In the bottled water you buy, there is a small amount of chlorine (cloruos) of between 6 mg per liter and up to 54 mg per liter. In other countries the maximum rekommended content per liter is 0.5 mg. In Spain, it is 0.8-1 mg per liter. This means that the bottled water contains 6 to 54 times as much chlorine as the maximum amount recommended by the health authority.
When will the addition of chlorine present a danger to health? There is no direct answer to that question, since the risk of damage from long term consumption of drinking water with high chlorine content thas not been researched. Researchers at Birmingham University has investigated 400 000 infants and found that high doses of chlorine in drinking water can prevent fetal development, writes Sky News. Three serious defects is unfortunately very normal: a hole in the heart, HARELIP and that parts of the brain, skull and scalp is missing or incomplete. Diseases are often associated with the chemical substance trihalomethanes (THM) formed by chlorine and other organic substances in water.
What is a low dosage? When the bottle water has a chlorine addition of more than 50 times the recommended dose, is it a low chlorine addition? What is the health authorities position as to how much chlorine may be added to bottled water ?What is the long-term danger and health risk for us, our children and grandchildren if we drink bottled water with excessive chlorine addition?
The conclusion should be: Make sure your drinking water is clean, without chlorine and other chemicals. There is a simple method. A Drinking water filter with active carbon. It purifies the water and is really easy to install. Those who rent an apartment can have the same filter in a separate edition. It will ony be linked to the combination battery and is easy to take with you when leaving the appartment. This drinking water filter provides clean and safe drinking water for only 0,03 cents per liter. Bottled water costs at least 0,10 cents per liter. The filter provides both better and cheaper drinking water and you avoid carrying heavy water bottles from the store.
Bathing or showering in chlorinated water will dry out your hair and you can get dandruff. The skin becomes dry and people suffering from psoriasis, allergies or other skin diseases should never swim or bathe in chlorinated water. THM irritate skin and mucous membranes and may enhance skin diseases.
There is a filter that removes 98 percent of the chlorine from your bathing water. The filter has a capacity of 60 000 liters before it should be replaced. It is a good investment to obtain cleaner and healthier bath water.
Comment from Red: Aqua Puro removes chlorine and bacteria from municipal water, stabilize pH and add healthy marine minerals and trace elements, weather you have a carbon filter or not.

Bottled water has contaminants, study finds
By JEFF DONN, AP National Writer Wed Oct 15, 12:17 AM ET
Tests on leading brands of bottled water turned up a variety of contaminants often found in tap water, according to a study released Wednesday by an environmental advocacy group. The findings challenge the popular impression — and marketing pitch — that bottled water is purer than tap water, the researchers say. However, all the brands met federal health standards for drinking water. Two violated a California state standard, the study said.
